Argos: Argos will not open.

ARGOS Java V8_u45 of Higher Settings

Symptom:

Argos will not launch when clicking on the Argos button.

Fix:

Open the Java control panel:

1. Click on Start
2. Click on Control Panel
3. If control panel is displayed by large icons, click on the Java icon
   
   
   
   
4. If control panel is displayed by categories:
   1. 1. Click on ‘Programs’
         
         
         
         
      2. Click on the Java icon
         
         
         
         
5. Click on the Java control panel ‘Advanced’ tab, scroll to the bottom and ensure that the following choices are selected:
   1. 1. Check for signed code certificate revocation using – Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs)
      2. Perform TLS certificate revocation checks on – Server certificate only
      3. Check for TLS certificate revocation using – Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs)
         
         
         
         
6. 6. Click on ‘Ok’ and exit the Java console and Control Panel
