If the instructor's computer is not connecting to the internet, check all cable connections and reboot the computer. If it still cannot establish internet connection, here is temporary work around that I find sometimes works in Waters Hall:
Right-click the internet connection icon in the task bar and open the Network and Sharing Center.
Click on the grayed-out globe internet icon. The default internet browser should attempt to open in a separate window.
This process is a manual way of attempting to bypass the computer's default method of establishing a network connection and attempt to directly open the default internet browser. In the case that the computer is actually connected to a network, but is unable to recognize the internet connection, this can sometimes work.
