The Athens State Website is the best way to access the systems you will use most frequently as a student at Athens State University. You will be able to launch these systems directly from the website, all from a clearly designated location featured on the page.
To begin, simply type www.athens.edu in the address bar of your internet browser and press “enter”. This should take you straight to the official Athens State Website. Or, perform a search of “Athens State University” with your preferred search engine, and from the results that display, click on the link that indicates www.athens.edu as the URL. Either way should be a correct route to the official Athens State Website.
Navigating to the systems you will use daily is easy. They are all accessible from the Athens State Website’s opening homepage. From the homepage, scroll down towards the bottom of the page until you see a section that is labeled “Stay Connected”. Under the “Stay Connected” heading, a group of “tiles” is displayed in different colors, horizontally across the page. Each tile has a title and icon to distinguish the identity and function of the system, program, or purpose it represents. Click on a tile and it will take you to the correct login page or the appropriate page for access or information. Also, there is a drop down menu at the top, right-hand corner of the homepage that provides quick access to other useful areas. Although basic navigation is the focus of this video, the Athens State Website is essentially the gateway to all relevant resources provided by the University, for Faculty, Staff, and Students. I recommend exploring the website often. Gaining a general knowledge of what information is available through the website will be an asset to you in the future
