Simple Syllabus

1. What Is Simple Syllabus?

Simple Syllabus is a new tool that lets you easily view all your course syllabi right inside Canvas or on the Simple Syllabus platform. Starting January 2026, every course will have a standardized, digital syllabus that’s always available, always up to date, and easy to read.

2. Where to Find Your Syllabus in Canvas

To access your course syllabus:

1. Log in to Canvas.
2. Open the course you want to view.
3. In the left-hand course navigation, click “Simple Syllabus”.
4. The syllabus will open directly in Canvas, no need to download anything.

3. Using the Simple Syllabus platform

1. Navigate to athens.simplesyllabus.com.
2. Use your portal credentials to log in. 
3. The ‘My Courses’ tab is where your syllabi are for classes you are currently enrolled in. 

4. How to Print or Save a Copy of Your Syllabus

If you’d like a copy for offline reference:

1. Open your syllabus in Canvas.
2. Click the Print icon or the browser’s Print option.
3. Choose “Save as PDF” to download, or select your printer to print a hard copy.

Your saved copy will include the most current version of the syllabus at that time.
