Using your existing browser, navigate to google.com
Click the Google App Launcher in the top right corner and select Chrome.
This will take you to the Google Chrome download page.
Decide if you want to uncheck the box below the Download Chrome button in the middle of the page.
Confirm that your computer’s OS is listed under the Download Chrome button in the middle of the page.
Click either Download Chrome button.
The download may begin and automatically save the install file to your default download location. If it does not and you see the following dialog box, click save file.
Select where you want to save the download file and click Save.
Once the download has completed, click the notification to open the file and begin installation.

If you see a User Account Control screen, click Yes to continue the installation.
Chrome will begin downloading the full program and automatically install opening when it has finished.
macOS
Using your existing browser, navigate to google.com
Click the Google App Launcher in the top right corner and select Chrome.
This will take you to the Google Chrome download page.
Decide if you want to uncheck the box below the Download Chrome button in the middle of the page.
Confirm that your computer’s OS is listed under the Download Chrome button in the middle of the page.
Click either Download Chrome button.
You may be presented with a screen asking you which type of Mac you have. Review the options and if you’re uncertain, follow the directions to confirm which type of Mac you have.
After you select which chip you have, you may encounter a security screen. Click Allow to confirm the download.
Your download should begin. You may notice it in multiple places; In the browser address bar and/or in the Dock in the Downloads folder:

Once the download has completed, you can launch the file from either place by clicking on the googlechrome.dmg file.
The googlechrome.dmg file will decompress and automatically launch the install screen.
If it doesn’t automatically launch, look for this icon on your desktop and double click it.
Drag the Google Chrome icon to the Applications folder icon and release.
The program will be copied/installed.
Once installation is complete you can locate Google Chrome via the Launchpad.
Managing Pop-ups in Google Chrome
By default, Google Chrome automatically blocks pop-ups. When a pop-up is blocked, the address bar will be marked Pop-up blocked.
If you would like to allow pop-ups from the site you are visiting you can click the Pop-up blocked notification and select the Always allow pop-ups and redirects option. Confirm the web address matches first.
Clicking the Manage button will take you to the Privacy and Security settings for Pop-ups where you can select to block all pop-ups, allow all pop-ups or add specific exceptions.

If you still get pop-ups after disabling them you may have previously subscribed to receive notifications from a site.
You can block notifications if you don’t want any communications from a site to show up on your screen.
Your computer or phone may be infected by malware.

Turn pop-ups on or off
At the top right, click More and select Settings.
Scroll down to Privacy and Security and click Site Settings.
Scroll down to the Content section and click Pop-ups and Redirects.
At the top, turn the setting to Allowed or Blocked.
You can add specific sites to Block or Allow pop-ups from by clicking the applicable Add button on this screen.
To capture all pop-ups across the site, use the pattern [*.]example.com.
Managing Cookies in Google Chrome
In Chrome click the Customize and Control Menu button and select Settings.
Select Privacy and Security on the left-hand side and click Cookies and other site data.
Under General settings, click Allow all cookies.
Clearing the Cache & History in Google Chrome
In Chrome, click the three dots in the upper right corner, then select More tools
Select "Clear browsing data"
Select "Advanced"
Time range should be "All time"
Check each box
Click "Clear Data"
Close the browser and then reopen it to complete the process.
