On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, student email accounts will be migrated to the Microsoft 365 environment used by Athens State University employees.
This change will improve service reliability and provide a more unified experience across the university.
What to Expect
While we will do our best to minimize disruption, email and user accounts may not be accessible on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Your email and MyAthens Password will NOT change. This password is also used for Canvas and MyAthens Portal.
You should continue to log in and access your account exactly as you do today.
If you do not know the password but it is auto filled on your web browser, learn how to view your saved password for your web browser:
If necessary, write the MyAthens password down.
After confirming the MyAthens password, it is necessary to clear the web browser’s cache and cookies (All-Time history).
Clearing the web browser’s cache and cookies improves web browser performance and ensures you see the latest version of a website.
After clearing the web browser’s cache and cookies, log in to your Athens State University accounts using your email address and MyAthens password.
