YuJa is the new video platform used by instructors and students at Athens State University. YuJa enables students to create recordings of presentations, projects, and other work with high-quality, flexible, and versatile tools. Students can access recording tools, share recordings with their class, or securely submit recordings to an instructor. Student recording is flexible enough to fit the needs of any subject or classroom structure. Also, with the widespread use of smartphones, students can access mobile recordings wherever they are.
Below are a series of articles intended to help students get started using YuJa.
Quick Start Guides for Students and Users

The articles under course content cover the use of the mobile app and how to watch a live stream.
The YuJa Mobile App enables access to the YuJa Media Channels, Mobile Capture, and Mobile Upload. The YuJa Mobile App is available for both Android and iOS devices, tablets, and smartphones.
Content Creators can choose to live stream lecture captures in real-time. If you would like to watch your capture as it happens, and the Content Creator opts to broadcast their lectures, it’s simple to do so with the Video Platform.
The articles under media management cover content related to watching, uploading, using, sharing, and publishing media.
Manually Uploading Media Content
Users can upload files by using Manage Media. Uploaded files may be auto-captioned and accessed in the same way as a file created using the Software Capture application or the Hardware Hub.
Manage Media includes a suite of tools to organize, store and manage media for your organization. This includes the ability to organize content into Channels, search and maintain the Media Library, share media, upload and download media, caption content, and use the Video Editor.
Viewers have the ability to use the Platform’s tools to share and publish videos in several different ways; some of these abilities are determined by the owner of the course or group. Capture tools, including Software and Browser Capture, are available to Viewers to record media, or media can be uploaded to Manage Media.
